I’m Jovani Pink.

I build software, write about systems, and lead Measured Studios.

My work spans data and AI, software architecture, and interactive systems. At Measured Studios, I stay involved in the work: understanding a problem, shaping an approach, implementing it, and examining what the result actually demonstrates.

What you’ll find here

This is my personal home for writing, work, and things worth reading. Some pieces explore a practical engineering question. Others connect software with simulation, communication, and how people make decisions.

My projects range from data-platform reference architectures and open-source statecharts to an interactive story about my grandmother. They give me different ways to explore state, ownership, feedback, and human judgment.

How I approach the work

I care about making systems inspectable: where information comes from, what a workflow does when something fails, when a person needs to make a decision, and what evidence supports the next step.

An implementation, a working prototype, and an observed outcome answer different questions. The evidence standard explains how I describe those distinctions here.

Where Measured Studios fits

I lead Measured Studios, a consultancy and product studio focused on data, AI, and useful software. Commercial engagements and owned products live there. This site gives my writing, reading, and broader explorations room of their own.

From an idea to useful software

Work with me through Measured Studios.

I help teams assess a data or AI workflow through a bounded readiness engagement, followed by a production pilot when the evidence supports it.
